With temperatures in the mid 30's today the elephant just couldn't resist a swim. Of course the younger bulls were the first in going crazy. And when the rest of the herd saw the party they were having, they just couldn't resist and as one went piling into the dam, a seething mass of bodies.

This video was taken the day before the nestlings left the nest. My son and I were building a shed in our backyard and noticed the activity around the nest which is directly over the roof of the shed. The birds ignored us as they came back and forth with grubs for the babies. 4 adults were feeding the two young.
